Spicy Prawn Skewers


  • 80ml Sweet Pepper & Chilli Sauce
  • 125ml plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 thinly sliced spring onion (white and light green parts only)
  • 4 finely chopped large garlic cloves
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheeseĀ 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 60ml extra-virgin olive oil
  • Peeled and deveined large prawn
  • Optional: Lemon cut inti wedges



  • In a medium bowl mix the Sweet Pepper & Chilli Sauce, yogurt, 1/4 of the garlic and 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large bowl combine the remaining thinly chopped garlic and olive oil.
  • Add the prawn to the mixture.
  • Season with salt and pepper and lightly toss to smother the prawn with the delicious Chilli mix.
  • Thread 4 prawn onto skewers and cook over a medium-hot stove or fire, turning occasionally, until the prawn is cooked through (about 5 minutes)
  • Transfer the skewers to a platter and crumb the feta over the top
  • Serve hot with a side of Sweet Pepper & Chilli Sauce.
